Official Lincoln County criminal records come from the Nevada or local office that keeps the source file. This private reference service cannot answer for those agencies or release their documents. Use the contacts below to route a court-file question to the proper clerk, a Sheriff report or booking request to Justice Way in Pioche, and a personal statewide history request to Nevada's Central Repository.

This Is Not a Government Office. This privately operated resource cannot retrieve an official record, conduct a government background check, correct or seal a record, or accept a court filing. Those services must come from the agency or court with legal custody of the file.

Need an Official Record?

Lincoln County and Nevada offices divide records by source and case stage. Send each request to the custodian that created or maintains the file:

  • Court case files: use the Lincoln County criminal court case records route and contact the clerk for the court that heard the matter
  • Personal Nevada criminal history: apply through the Nevada Department of Public Safety, Records, Communications and Compliance Division, Records Bureau with DPS-006 and fingerprints
  • Arrest, booking, and jail records: contact the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office when it created or holds the record
  • Incident and police reports: request the document from the Sheriff, Nevada State Police, city, or federal agency that made it
  • Record sealing: file in the District, Justice, or Municipal Court that owns the eligible case
  • Caliente municipal records: contact Caliente Municipal Court at 100 Depot Avenue, 775-726-3131, or court@cityofcaliente.com

Lincoln County Clerk: 181 N. Main Street, Suite 201, Pioche, NV 89043; 775-962-8000; fax 775-962-5180. The counter is open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. District Court is in Suite 208 and sits in Lincoln County on the second and fourth Fridays. Meadow Valley Justice Court can be reached at 775-962-8059, and Pahranagat Valley Justice Court at 775-962-8082. Call first when a file may be old or the correct court is uncertain.

The county does not publish separate records-window hours, so confirm counter access before travel. Sheriff's incident, arrest, and booking requests use the official Public Information Request Form and may be delivered at the counter, by mail, or by fax.
