1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site, operated independently of government. It does not keep official records, retrieve them for users, conduct official background checks, or submit filings on anyone's behalf.

Its role is to identify sources for Lincoln County criminal records, including the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, the county courts, the Nevada Department of Public Safety Records Bureau, and the Nevada Sex Offender Registry and Community Notification Website. Access to agency records remains subject to Nevada law, including the Nevada Public Records Act in NRS Chapter 239 and the criminal-history dissemination rules in NRS Chapter 179A.

2. Rules for Using This Site

By using the site, you agree not to:

• Use the site in violation of federal, Nevada, or local law
• Harass, stalk, intimidate, or threaten a person with information found here
• Rely on site content for hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions
• Attempt unauthorized entry into any system or restricted area
• Send bots, scrapers, or other automated processes through the pages
• Interfere with site performance or another visitor's access

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

You may not use material from this site or a linked tool to stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or unlawfully discriminate against anyone. Nevada imposes specific limits on use of information from the Nevada Sex Offender Registry and Community Notification Website. Misuse against a registrant or another person at a reported address can result in criminal or civil consequences under NRS 179B.270 through 179B.290. Registry information is for lawful public-safety awareness, never vigilantism or prohibited discrimination.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Lincoln County Criminal History is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. It does not create consumer reports, credit reports, or official background checks. The site and its advertising partners do not provide products designed to assess job applicants, rental applications, insurance rates, or creditworthiness. You must not use information from this site or a linked tool to:

• Make a hiring or termination decision
• Evaluate a renter or other housing applicant
• Assess credit or establish an insurance premium
• Decide eligibility for a license, permit, or public program
• Carry out any other activity regulated by the FCRA

When a regulated background check is required, use the process designated by the Nevada Department of Public Safety Records Bureau or a provider that complies with the FCRA.

5. No Legal Advice

The material is general information, not legal advice. Although it describes criminal-record procedures in Lincoln County, it cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, or Nevada record-sealing rule affects a particular matter. Consult an attorney licensed in Nevada for legal advice.

6. No Warranties

All content and functions are supplied "as is." No guarantee is made that:

• Any item is complete, accurate, or current
• Access will remain available without disruption
• The pages contain no bugs, mistakes, or security weaknesses
• A partner search tool will return complete or correct results

Criminal records change as charges are filed, resolved, amended, or sealed. Nevada agencies may also restrict data under NRS Chapter 179A or another confidentiality law. Gaps and delays can occur, so site content must not be treated as an official statement from a court, sheriff, repository, or other public office.

Links may lead to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, courts, Nevada agencies, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. Following a link takes you to a service outside our control. We do not accept responsibility for its availability, fees, content, privacy practices, or data handling. Review that service's own terms before using it.

Text, logos, graphics, and code belong to Lincoln County Criminal History or its content partners. You may not reproduce, distribute, alter, or create derivative material from that content without prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for damages arising from use of the site, including reliance on information obtained here or through a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, demands, or legal proceedings caused by your use of the site or breach of these terms, including associated legal fees and costs.

11. Governing Law

Nevada law governs these terms. Any dispute related to use of the site must be brought in a court located in Nevada.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. A revised version becomes effective when it is posted here.

13. Cutting Off Access

We may restrict or end access to the site at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected language will be modified only to the extent needed for enforcement.
